Vernon Jackson "Jack" Gordon, 81, Tonganoxie, KS., died Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Jack was born February 18, 1931, in Russellville, the youngest of nine children born to Enos and Emma (Zink) Gordon.
He was an Army veteran, and had worked for Safeway Grocery.
Survivors include his son, Todd Gordon, of Camden Point; two daughters, Sheryl Cooper, of Kansas City, MO, and Paula Eveland, of Bonner Springs, KS; a brother, Don Gordon, and sister, Arnelia “Nickey” Amos, both of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Jim, Ely, Billie, Alison, and Levi, and two great-grandchildren, Marissa and Blake.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, at McLaughlin Funeral Home, Sedalia, Mo. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Eugene.
