Robert L. Brosch, 79, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born January 11, 1933, near Springfork, a son of the late John W. and Margaret J. (Perkins) Brosch.
He attended Liberty School in rural Pettis County. He helped his father on the farm and later went to work at Rival Manufacturing, from where he retired after 30 years of service. After retirement from Rival, he continued to raise cattle on the farm. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by four siblings, Leroy Brosch, Edna Klein, and Mary Ulmer, all of Sedalia, and Ruth Horrell, of St. Louis; and 11 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Brosch.
Memorial services will be 10 am, Friday, February 24, 2012, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sedalia.
