Life Legacy
Paul Leo Klein, 91, of Sedalia, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
He was born August 1, 1917 in Bahner, MO, a son of Lawrence P. and Lena Meyer Klein. On December 14, 1940 he was married to Margaret Ream, who survives.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He served on the MFA Oil Co. Board and was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association.
Also surviving are three daughters, Joyce Fischer and husband Adam, Judith Hancock and husband Gerald, all of Sedalia, Janet Lewman and husband Jerry, Las Vegas, NV; four sisters, Anna Marie Mitchell, Charlene Ferguson and Bernadine Hammond, all of Sedalia and Betty Bahner, of Smithton; two brothers, Andrew Klein, of Sedalia and William Klein, of Smithton; five grandchildren, Deborah Fischer Shanahan, Mark Zimmerschied and wife Karen, Lisa Fischer Meiners and husband Bill, Rebecka Lewman Fleckenstein and husband John and Paul Lewman and wife Julie; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Edwin and Martin Klein; and three sisters, Marjorie Lemler, Ruby Shanahan and Anna Marie Klein.
Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Bill Miller officiating. Burial will be in LaMonte Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
