Life Legacy
Joyce Marie Thompson, 61, of Sedalia, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born December 12, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Robert Campbell and Dorothy Farrell Campbell. She was married to Leroy H. Thompson, who survives of the home.
She was a member of New Bethel Church. She was a 1965 graduate of Green Ridge High School. She loved children, and family was very important to her. She enjoyed going to rummage sales and collected porcelain dolls.
Also surviving are her mother, Dorothy Campbell, of Green Ridge; two brothers, Michael Campbell, of Sedalia and Joe Campbell, of Ionia; and a sister, Aureta Craighead, of Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Campbell.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mary Biesemeyer and Rev. Elvis Durrill officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
